Sam is licensed to practice law in both Arizona and California. He began his legal career in 1989 as a US Army JAG officer stationed in Germany. After his tour as a criminal prosecutor he returned to his hometown in northern California and specialized in municipal and education law with area firms. In addition to his legal background Sam has been involved in business and government relations. He has served as Legislative Counsel to the California Judges Association and as President of a successful e-commerce company.
